 Meanwhile, Carson was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap  on Tuesday as they fell  46-42 to Bishop Manogue.
 Carson has  been struggling recently as they've  lost five of their last six matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record  this season. As for Douglas, their loss dropped their record down to 10-13.
 Douglas beat Carson 42-32  when the teams last played  back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Douglas since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
