Newton County Academy came out on top against Kemper Academy on Tuesday thanks in part to Bryce Jones's efforts. Jones scored three runs while going 4-for-5, which was good enough to set a new career-high in hits.

Looking ahead, Jones and Newton County Academy will face off against River Oaks at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Generals are a perfect 3-0 against the Mustangs going back to March of 2018, a lead they'll look to extend.
