Skowhegan won the last time they met up with Cony, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Skowhegan dodged a bullet on Friday, finishing off Cony 14-13. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.
The win bumped Skowhegan's record up to 2-1. The loss dropped Cony's record to 2-1.
Next week Skowhegan take on Marshwood at 7:00 PM. As for Cony, they will face off against Lawrence.
