The Somerset Bulldogs's 27-11 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They had to suffer through a rough 66-29 loss at the hands of Navarro. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Somerset in their matchups with Navarro: they've now lost eight in a row.
Among those leading the charge was Sienna Kramer, who scored 18 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tegan Harborth, who scored 14 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals.
Somerset bumped their record down to 3-13 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.5 points per game. As for Navarro, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-2.
Somerset is on the road again on Friday and play against Sinton at 12:00 p.m. on December 1st. Sinton is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. As for Navarro, they will play host again and welcome Roma, where tip off is scheduled for 8:55 a.m. on Friday. Roma is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
