MUNSTER, Ind. -
Munster (Ind.) kept up a steady attack all game long to beat Highland (Ind.), 30-0, on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Joe Jumonville in the first quarter, the Mustangs were up 27-0 at the half.
Munster grew its lead to 30 points entering the fourth quarter. MHS's lone score in the quarter came on a field goal by
Matt Childs.
A 29-0 Munster victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
The victory was a step in the right direction for Munster, which was coming off a 35-14 defeat at the hands of Chesterton in its previous game. The loss comes after Highland defeated Hammond 20-13 last week. The loss ended Highland's two-game winning streak.
