Miller Finn put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April on Monday. He struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.

Finn's effort led Pontotoc over Corinth and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
