The Lone Star Longhorns's found some homefield redemption this week after a tough overtime loss to the Weldon Valley Warriors on Thursday. Lone Star walked away with a 37-24 win over Front Range Baptist. That's another feather in the cap for Lone Star, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Leading Lone Star to victory were Jade Kuntz and Paityn Forry. Kuntz scored nine points, while Forry scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Forry has scored all season.
The victory got Lone Star back to even at 5-5. As for Front Range Baptist, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-7.
