Milpitas entered their tilt with Los Gatos on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 52-40 victory over the Los Gatos Wildcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Defeat or not, Los Gatos got some senior leadership from Anthony Martin and Osha Moloney. Martin posted 15 points, while Moloney went 5 for 9 on his way to 12 points. Zach Otoupal was another key player, putting up four points and five rebounds.

Milpitas pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.9 points per game. As for Los Gatos, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.

Milpitas and Los Gatos should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Milpitas (ranked 148th) will meet Mountain View (ranked 376th) at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Similarly, Los Gatos (ranked 78th) will meet Los Altos (ranked 590th) at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
