Basketball Recap: Lincoln Leadership Academy Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

Lincoln Leadership Academy extended their home winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Dwight Prud'Homme. The Lincoln Leadership Academy Lions managed a 70-66 win over Weatherly on Saturday thanks in part to Prud'Homme, who dropped a double-double on 32 points and 11 rebounds. What's more, he also racked up two steals, the most he's had since back in January of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Isaiah Medina, who posted 11 points and eight steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.5 steals per game.

Weatherly lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ian Mckeegan, who went 8 of 11 on his way to 24 points. Mckeegan has been hot, having posted 16 or more points the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Niko Saldukas, who put up 14 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals.

Lincoln Leadership Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.7 points per game. As for Weatherly, they moved to 4-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Lincoln Leadership Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 71-34 victory against Martin Luther on the 7th. As for Weatherly, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 68-62 loss against Tri-Valley on the 7th.
