While Odessa didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victor by a 53-32 margin over the Holden Eagles on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Odessa is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.6 points per game. As for Holden, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.

Odessa wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 59-47 loss against Harrisonville on the 22nd. Holden has also already played their next matchup (against Lafayette County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
