Lighthouse Christian faced Lancaster Christian Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Lighthouse Christian found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 18-48 punch to the gut against Lancaster Christian Academy four weeks ago. Lighthouse Christian were down by 18-40 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for South Haven Christian, and their match two weeks ago only extended their streak of losses to five. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 24-50 walloping at Christian Community's hands. The state rankings had actually given South Haven Christian a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
