The Seneca Indians will head out on the road to face off against the Ithaca Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Seneca barely beat Royall the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Indians never let the Panthers get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory on Tuesday. With that win, the Indians brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Kaden Roberts and Jackson Konichek made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Roberts pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Konichek struck out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high. At bat, Roberts went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI, while Konichek went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Konichek has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.
In other batting news, Prestin Kuhnke and Gage Wall did most of the damage at the plate: Kuhnke went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run, while Wall went 3-for-4 with one home run and three runs. That home run was Wall's first of the season. Jax Wall was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
Seneca kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ithaca). They put the hurt on La Farge with a sharp 20-0 victory on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won seven in a row.
Seneca's record is now 12-4. As for Ithaca, their record now sits at 10-3.
Seneca might still be hurting after the 9-3 loss they got from Ithaca in their previous meeting back in April. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
