 Despite the  loss, Serra saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Kaicia Snelson  made all 8 shots she took racking up 20 points plus four  steals.  Kali Carter was another key player,  posting five points plus four  blocks and two  steals.
 Meanwhile, Frontier had to suffer through a   64-25 loss at the hands of North. The  match marked the Titans' lowest-scoring  contest so far this season.
 Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from  Lailene Araniva, who  had three points in addition to seven  rebounds and two  steals.
 Serra's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Frontier, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
