Nate Ganz and Damien Chambers provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Crawfordsville. The connection went for 93 yards, the longest such play in Western Indiana this season.
Sullivan scaled the state rankings by moving to 119 from 176 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Golden Arrows were able to move up by defeating South Spencer 48-21.
Gabe Koontz was a passing and rushing force as Edgewood defeated the Athenians.
Koontz was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 159 yards on 25 carries as the Mustangs beat the Rebels. Teammate Logan day added to the ground attack by rushing for 12 yards.
Trent Olson's team's Michael Willis and Hutchcraft have formed a dream team this season, leading Western Indiana in both passing and receiving yards. 6-1 quarterback Willis has thrown for 1,911 yards this season, while Hutchcraft has 38 catches for 682 yards. Koontz from Edgewood leads the league in rushing with 1,273 yards.
Going into this week's contest against Evansville Mater Dei, the Golden Arrows' Willis needs 89 passing yards to surpass 2,000 on the season.
Northview fell to Indianapolis Bishop Chatard 48-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Tucker Stewart threw for 75 yards and 1 touchdown in the defeat.
