It was a good run, but Bodine unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 54-41 to the Belmont Charter Tigers. Belmont Charter had a senior duo take command as Jabbar Farmer scored 16 points and Willie Williams had 16 points. Farmer continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Yahmir Fisher, who put up seven points.
Bodine's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-5. As for Belmont Charter, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bodine will challenge Nueva Esperanza at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Bodine is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.2 points per game this season. As for Belmont Charter, they will take on First Philadelphia Prep at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
