The Rosman Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Mitchell, falling 78-29. Rosman was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-16.
Loss or not, Rosman got some senior leadership from Kaesyn Mccoy and Mason Meece. Mccoy scored 11 points along with five steals, while Meece. scored 14 points. That was a full 37.9% of Rosman's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Rosman has been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Mitchell, the win got them back to even at 7-7.
Rosman will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Avery County at 8:00 p.m. As for Mitchell, they will head out on the road to take on NCSSM: Morganton at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
