Everything went their way against the San Carlos Braves on Friday as they made off with a 22-4 victory. The Wildkats haven't had any issues with the Braves recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Reymia Contreras made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over 3.2 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, Paisley Patton was incredible, firing off two home runs, seven RBI, and four runs while going 4-for-5. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Shaylynn Rhoton also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.
