McLean entered their tilt with Shamrock on Tuesday with ten consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 11. They came out on top against the Shamrock Irish by a score of 54-46. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

McLean's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hailo Moon, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 19 rebounds. Moon is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last 11 games she's played. Kasidy Russell was another key player, putting up 17 points along with eight rebounds and five blocks.

McLean smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

Several Irish players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Maci Owens, who posted 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Cook, who had 11 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

McLean's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.2 points per game. As for Shamrock, their record now sits at 11-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McLean will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Groom at 11:30 a.m. on December 30th. Shamrock also won't see the court for a while: their next match is against Fort Elliott at 11:00 a.m. on December 28th.
