Basketball Game Preview: Global Outreach Charter Academy Kodiaks vs. First Baptist Christian Academy Crusaders

The Global Outreach Charter Academy Kodiaks just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the First Baptist Christian Academy Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Global Outreach Charter Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Global Outreach Charter Academy is headed into the game having just posted their biggest victory since January 18th on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat St. Johns Classical Academy 45-11. The Kodiaks' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Global Outreach Charter Academy found their leader in sophomore Quetiushka Rivera, who posted 21 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rivera has scored all season. Mya Vogler was another key player, putting up nine points.

Meanwhile, First Baptist Christian Academy humbled Orangewood Christian with a 52-25 victory. With the Crusaders ahead 39-11 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

First Baptist Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Julia Rose, who went 9 of 17 on her way to 23 points in addition to seven boards and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Paiden Hickman, who went 6 for 10 on her way to 13 points in addition to six boards and three steals.

The win made it two in a row for First Baptist Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Global Outreach Charter Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.
