Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately neither team quite found what they we're looking for on Friday. Neither Edison nor Ransom Everglades could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result kept Edison happy, as they haven't lost a game yet this season.
They avoided a loss thanks to
Antsy-love Houanche and
Shnidine Marcialus, who posted both of Edison's goals. The pair have combined for a total of three so far this season.
Edison's draw gives them a new season record of 15-0-1. Meanwhile, Ransom Everglades' record is now 11-4-4.
Edison will head out on the road to face off against NSU University at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. NSU University is on a three-game streak of home wins, Edison a five-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the pitch. Ransom Everglades does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
