After flying high against Fort Bend Clements last Monday, Fort Bend Austin came back down to earth. The Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs took a blow against the Fort Bend Travis Tigers on Friday, falling 83-47. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Fort Bend Austin's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-5. As for Fort Bend Travis, they pushed their record up to 15-1 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
