Athol has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. After each having a week off, the Athol Bears and the Chicopee Pacers will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 6:00 p.m. on November 16th.
Athol and Hoosac Valley squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but sadly Athol had to settle for second. Athol received a tough blow as they fell 34-18 to Hoosac Valley.
The losing side was boosted by Aaron Ouellet, who picked up 113 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Chicopee fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They enjoyed a cozy 20-6 victory over Palmer on Friday.
Hoosac Valley's win bumped their season record to 9-0 while Athol's defeat dropped theirs to 5-4.
Athol suffered a grim 24-2 defeat to Chicopee when the teams last played back in November of 2018. Can Athol avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
