Greensburg was sadly handed a loss on Monday, but Harper Adams did her best to prevent it. Despite the defeat, Adams was still locked in as she struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than ten strikeouts in 13 consecutive appearances.

Even though Adams couldn't lead Greensburg over East Central, she won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Pirates have some work to do to even out the 1-8 series between these two since May of 2021, but a win here would be a good start.
