Dante Tobler ran for four touchdowns to lift
New Milford (N.J.) to a 54-21 beat over Lyndhurst (N.J.). Thanks to the stand out performance the senior now has six touchdowns on the season.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Tobler in the first quarter, the Knights led 21-14 at the half.
New Milford expanded its lead to 27 points entering the fourth quarter. NM scored four times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by Tobler.
The Golden Bears' Danny Kesack was the standout player for his team. The senior quarterback threw two touchdowns and ran for one touchdown.
The defeat comes as a step back for Lyndhurst, which notched a 42-6 victory over Wood-Ridge in its previous outing.
New Milford (2-0) will play a North Jersey - Liberty game against Secaucus next week, while Lyndhurst (1-1) will take on Cresskill also in a North Jersey - Liberty game.
