Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bradford). They walked away with a 55-44 victory over the Port Allegany Gators on Monday. That's more bragging rights for the Owls, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Several Gators players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Isac Amell, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards. Jarrod Funk was another key player, putting up 13 points and six rebounds.

Bradford's win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-2. As for Port Allegany, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2.

Bradford and Ridgway will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Port Allegany will take on Northern Potter in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Port Allegany is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.8 points per game this season.
