Banneker is 1-9 against Tri-Cities since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Even though Banneker has not done well against Creekside recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Banneker beat Creekside by the very same score they won with last week: 63-53. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Banneker.
Meanwhile, Tri-Cities unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Monday. They lost to Cedar Grove on the road by a decisive 49-35 margin. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Tri-Cities has scored all season.
Banneker's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Tri-Cities, their loss ended a ten-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 10-6.
Banneker was dealt a bruising 68-40 loss at the hands of Tri-Cities when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Thankfully for Banneker, Kory Mincy (who dropped a triple-double on 14 points, ten rebounds, and 19 assists) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
