Juan Diego Castro was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points for Downtown Doral. Castro has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last five times he's played. Fabian Morantinos was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
International Studies bumped their record down to 0-7 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 22.8 points per game. As for Downtown Doral, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-12.
International Studies will head out on the road to square off against Everglades Prep Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Downtown Doral, they will be playing at home against Pinecrest Glades Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
