If DeSoto wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Festus, they should've done a better job of containing Jessie Hawkins. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Dragons on Tuesday thanks in part to Hawkins, who had 21 digs and two assists. She has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-16, 25-15.

Festus' record now sits at 13-4-1. As for DeSoto, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12-2.

Festus has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Potosi on the 24th. As for DeSoto, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Farmington on the 24th.
