The Halifax Academy Vikings lost against the Faith Christian Patriots back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Halifax Academy fell 55-45 to Faith Christian. Halifax Academy has not had much luck with Faith Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Several Vikings players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Landon Peoples, who scored 13 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Avery Boone, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Faith Christian was led to victory by Michael Grant and Gavin Johnson. Grant scored 15 points, while Johnson scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Johnson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Arby Bell, who scored eight points.
Halifax Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 15 of their last 18 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-19 record this season. As for Faith Christian, their win bumped their record up to 13-9.
Halifax Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Faith Christian also has no future games currently scheduled.
