Paxton entered their tilt with Poplar Springs on Friday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They took their match with ease, bagging a 57-10 win over the Poplar Springs Atomics. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 21 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Paxton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kenna Cook, who went 5 for 8 on her way to 14 points and four steals. Those four steals gave Cook a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Phillips, who posted 12 points and six rebounds.

Paxton was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Poplar Springs only posted two assists.

Paxton's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-1. As for Poplar Springs, they are on a 33-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Paxton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-20 win against Destin on the 4th. As for Poplar Springs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 55-23 loss against Graceville on the 6th.
