Baseball Game Preview: Williston Red Devils vs. Seven Rivers Christian Warriors

Williston has gone a perfect 7-0 against Seven Rivers Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Williston Red Devils will host the Seven Rivers Christian Warriors at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Williston always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .645. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Branford only posted an OBP of .294.

Meanwhile, Seven Rivers Christian got the win against Wildwood on Tuesday by a conclusive 20-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Braylen Randall made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. Randall was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Seven Rivers Christian got a massive performance out of Ethan Purnell, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Brayden Craver was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
