Santa Clara came out on top against Bishop Diego on Tuesday thanks in part to Kadyn Sanchez's efforts. Nobody could stop Sanchez as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 16 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Sanchez and Santa Clara will host Grace at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Saints will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 306 places lower in California), but they're not letting that get them down.
