Meanwhile, Sierra Vista got the win against Amplus Academy on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Mountain Lions in their matchups with the Archers: they've now won three in a row.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Sierra Vista took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-11, 25-6.
Sierra Vista's victory bumped their record up to 18-11. As for Spring Valley, their win bumped their record up to 17-11.
