Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Shaylie Lang stepped things up a notch to give Timpanogos the 'W'. Lang wasn't messing around, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). The pitching appearance was her third straight with two or fewer walks.

Looking ahead, Lang and Timpanogos will square off against Hurricane at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will enter the matchup having just beaten Lincoln County, so the Timberwolves will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
