The Farmville Central Jaguars gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Wilson Prep 76-31 at home. With Farmville Central ahead 44-19 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Farmville Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Madison Denham, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 15 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamya Saddler, who scored 14 points along with 8 steals and 7 rebounds.
Despite the defeat, Wilson Prep saw an underclassman step up: Nakiya Boston scored 17 points.
Farmville Central's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Wilson Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
