Leading Carson to victory were Jacob Ortega and Ezekiel Harry. Ortega scored 25 points, while Harry scored 28 points. The match was Ortega's 11th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Cooper, who scored 9 points.
Diego Rivera's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Carson, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.
Diego Rivera will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Maywood Academy at 4:30 p.m. As for Carson, they will head out on the road to face off against Narbonne at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Narbonne is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
