Drummond has enjoyed a five-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Lincoln Lynx at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Drummond focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Friday.
Drummond stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard. Everything went their way against Lincoln as Drummond made off with a 46-24 victory.
Drummond relied on the efforts of Remington Cline, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and four steals, and Kimber Parsons, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds. Cline has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 12 times she's played.
Drummond's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-3. As for Lincoln, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7.
Everything went Drummond's way against the Lynx in their previous matchup on Friday as the Trojans made off with a 46-24 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Drummond since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
