 Meanwhile,  after soaring to 15  runs the game before, Cochranton was a bit more limited  in their  match  last Wednesday. They fell just short of Youngsville by a score of  3-1. The  loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Cochranton in their matchups with Youngsville: they've now lost five in a row.
 Cochranton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Brayden Burnette, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Rocky Grove  made their fans wait, but they earned their first win of the season to make their record 1-2. As for Cochranton, they now  have a losing record at 1-2.
 Rocky Grove suffered a grim  16-3 defeat to Cochranton  when the teams last played  back in May of 2023. Thankfully for Rocky Grove,  Bryce McDonough (who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 4-for-4) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
