The third road match was the charm for Musselman, as they earned their first away win of the season. Everything went their way against the Hedgesville Eagles on Saturday as they made off with a 16-9 victory. With that win, the Applemen brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.
Allison Hoffman made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.
