Petoskey came tearing into Tuesday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Rudyard Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Northmen, who have now won nine contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Petoskey's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-5. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Rudyard, their loss dropped their record down to 9-13.
