Cullen Sightler was dynamite on Tuesday, striking out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fifth in a row with more than six strikeouts. On the year, he has an ERA of .97 over 21.7 innings pitched.

Sightler's strong effort led Calhoun Academy over Thomas Sumter Academy and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
