Shenandoah have to be aching after a bruising 7-28 loss to Atlantic last Friday. Shenandoah's defeat continues a disappointing trend for the squad, making it eight losses in a row.
After a string of three wins, Kuemper's good fortune finally ran out. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 16-47 walloping at Battle Creek-Ida Grove/Odebolt-Arthur's hands. The state rankings had actually given Kuemper a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
