Firebaugh is 6-0 against Le Grand since December of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Firebaugh Eagles will be home for the holidays to greet the Le Grand Bulldogs at 4:45 p.m. Le Grand took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Firebaugh, who comes in off a win.
Even though Reedley scored an imposing 58 points on Tuesday, Firebaugh still came out on top. Firebaugh snuck past Reedley with a 63-58 victory. The win was just what Firebaugh needed coming off of a 83-41 loss in their prior match.
Meanwhile, Le Grand's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Chowchilla, falling 73-42. Le Grand has not had much luck with Chowchilla recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Firebaugh's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Le Grand, they bumped their record down to 1-5 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Everything came up roses for Firebaugh against Le Grand in their previous matchup on December 4th as the squad secured a 73-38 win. Will Firebaugh repeat their success, or does Le Grand have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
