They secured a 48-43 W over Faith Christian. That's another feather in the cap for Roanoke Valley Christian, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Roanoke Valley Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jeremy Chou out in front who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Chou has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Phillips, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds.
Faith Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Matthew Burton and Aaron Ridge. Burton scored 17 points along with eight rebounds, while Ridge scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that Burton pulled down eight or more rebounds. Landon Newton was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Roanoke Valley Christian pushed their record up to 9-2 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Faith Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.
