St. Helena is 0-3 against Vintage since April of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The St. Helena Saints will venture away from home to face off against the Vintage Crushers at 4:00 p.m. St. Helena will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
St. Helena is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Credo with a sharp 14-0 win on Thursday. Considering the Saints have won four games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Ada Blanton made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Blanton was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Vintage won against Redwood on Saturday with two runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. Vintage beat Benicia by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 2-1. The Crushers haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Angie Rubalcava spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Abygail Sims, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double. That double marked the first that she hit this season.
Vintage now has a winning record of 3-2. As for St. Helena, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
St. Helena's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's match. St. Helena has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.9 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Vintage, though, as they've been averaging only 0.2 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will St. Helena continue to outrun the ball?
