The Rosamond Roadrunners posted their biggest win yet this season on Friday. They breezed by Kern Valley on the road to the tune of 80-30. Winning may never get old, but Rosamond sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Andrew Arredondo was his usual excellent self, scoring 36 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Fabian Robles was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Kern Valley's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hunter Watts, who scored four points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Colton Carver, who scored four points along with six rebounds.
Rosamond has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Kern Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rosamond will take on Desert at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Desert is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Kern Valley, they will be playing at home against California City at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
