Camden hasn't had much luck against Daniel recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bulldogs will square off against the Lions at 7:30 p.m. Camden is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 30.8 points per game this season.
Camden is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 38-20 win over Greer. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Bulldogs' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the Yellow Jackets are ranked 118th).

Camden's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Navier Boykin, who rushed for 126 yards and three TDs while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. Boykin is becoming a predictor of the Bulldogs' success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 7-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't). Isaiah Smith helped out on the ground, rushing for 93 yards and a rushing touchdown.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Camden was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 282 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September.
Meanwhile, Daniel waltzed into their matchup on Friday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 14-10 W against the Blue Devils. Those 14 points were actually the fewest the Lions have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.
Daniel's win came from a few key players Camden will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kingsten Bibb, who rushed for 104 yards and one touchdown.
Camden's record now sits at 8-3. As for Daniel, their record is now 10-1.
Friday's game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Greyson Rimpf and Jace Grass. Rimpf just won't slow down this season and has averaged 186.4 passing yards per game. Grass has been a dominant force too and has thrown 30 touchdowns (and and only 2 pick) while averaging 247.9 passing yards per game.
Camden and Daniel were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, but Camden came up empty-handed after a 49-48 loss. Thankfully for the Bulldogs, Jakari Bennett (who rushed for 131 yards and three scores on only 13 carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
