IMG Academy Navy has gone a perfect 3-0 against Inspiration Academy Red recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The IMG Academy Navy Ascenders will welcome the Inspiration Academy Red Lions at 4:00 p.m. IMG Academy Navy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.

IMG Academy Navy proved they can win big on Friday (they won by ten) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Keswick Christian 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Ascenders have posted since April 25, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Omari Swinton, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Bodhi Aldridge, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Inspiration Academy Red's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of IMG Academy Blue on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Lions' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Inspiration Academy Red also got a good showing from Gavin Spisak, who didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.

IMG Academy Navy's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Inspiration Academy Red, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

IMG Academy Navy came out on top in a nail-biter against Inspiration Academy Red in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, sneaking past 14-13. Will IMG Academy Navy repeat their success, or does Inspiration Academy Red have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
