Warrior Run is 1-9 against Loyalsock Township since May of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Defenders will head out on the road to challenge the Lancers at 4:30 p.m. Warrior Run will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
If Warrior Run beats Loyalsock Township with ten runs on Wednesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Defenders were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over Montgomery on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Defenders, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Griffen Harrington was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. Harrington was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one stolen base. He is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as he's now launched at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Landon Tillson, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Cohen Zechman, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
Warrior Run always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .568. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .568 or higher in three consecutive contests.
Loyalsock Township came out on top against Hughesville on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run first inning. The Lancers blew past the Spartans 11-1. The win was some much needed relief for the Lancers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Warrior Run's victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Loyalsock Township, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
Everything went Warrior Run's way against Loyalsock Township in their previous meeting on Tuesday, as Warrior Run made off with a 15-8 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Defenders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
