Harker Heights and Midway are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2017, but not for long. The Harker Heights Knights will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Midway Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Harker Heights is not getting complacent considering they own a much higher rank in Texas (they are ranked 76th, while Midway is ranked 335th).
Last Tuesday, Harker Heights beat Bryan 60-49.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Midway's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a hard 60-43 fall against Hutto. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Midway in their matchups with Hutto: they've now lost four in a row.
Harker Heights has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-8 record this season. As for Midway, their loss dropped their record down to 14-18.
Harker Heights strolled past Midway in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 69-54. Will Harker Heights repeat their success, or does Midway have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
